PayPerPost

I am currently a college student at Stony Brook University. I am a computer science major. I have decided to use PayPerPost because I want to express my ideas and thoughts about entertainment, technology, celebrity, and movie/music. The lists go on and on, and are not limited to a certain topic. Not only will this opportunity give me the chance to express my thoughts, it also allows me to learn what is out there.

I am so excited to be given this opportunity to write about things around this world. Hopefully, after using PayPerPost, I will be able to gain more knowledge of blog marketing. As of now, I haven’t made any new friends yet. I hope to gain more after.

With PayPerPost, I can write about genres which can relate to anyone out there.

Perhaps, I can be the break whether someone buys or don’t buy the object. With PayPerPost, I can spread the news about celebrities and new products that are on the market. With PayPerPost, I can help someone decide if he or she should watch a certain movie.

As of today, this is my first post opportunity for PayPerPost. With all the money I earn, I will use it towards my college tuition. Moreover, I will use some of the money for my college textbooks.

Apple's Profit

Apple reported it's 1.05 billion profit during its second quarter. Apple shipped approximately 2.3 million MACbooks during the second quarter with a growth of 51 percent in revenue. Apple also sold 10,644,000 Ipods during that quarter.

Macintosh laptops have increased it's sales in the second-quarter. Apple reportedly sold 1.43 million portables during the second quarter, which was an increase of 61 percent from 2007. Mr. Oppenheimer from Apple attributed the year after year growth to continued demand for MacBook and MacBook Pros. An expected demand will be the newly released MACbook Air.

Laptops were not the only objects that have sold increasingly. Apple have sold about 860,000 desktops. This was increase of thirty-seven percent over the 626000 sold during the last half-yearly quarter.

Apple have seen increased sales in the stores too. Apple have opened 4 new wall-modeled stores which increased to 208 around the world. Apple plans to open more stores in Australia, China, and Switzerland.

Carly Gets the BOOT

American Idol contest Carly Smithson received the boot Wednesday night which shock the nation.

WOW!!! was my first expression. How can this girl be booted off American Idol? Actually, at this point, when you have about 7 contestants, they want the best of the best.

Even with the amazing and fruitful reviews from the judges, she still had the lowest votes. Perhaps, she was better off going back to her bar tending job.

I personally because the week to be a popularity week. But to think of it, who could've taken her place?

Controversy had spread at the beginning of the season with past in the music industry. Carly had previously released a record with MCA Records.

XP's Last Update

Wait! Service Pack 3 for Windows XP is on its way.

Microsoft announced its last and final update for Window XP. Service Pack 3 will bring about the latest updates and bugs that were newly released. Combine with these updates will be other changes.

This update will be available during sometime over the summer. A spoke man from the company said this change won't update the boxed copies of Window XP. On the other hand, XP will still be avaibable for users to make XP on new machines.

Companies have already noticed its customers on due dates for XP machines. Some low-memory, low-cost machines may still be available until 2010.

This service pack 3 was orginally planned out for 2006, but, was more focused on Window Vista.

Some of the updates include:

*BITS 2.5,

*Improvements to black-hole router detection

*Windows Installer 3.1

One of the Cook is ---> Gone

"After over 40,000 million votes, the person going home is Kristy Lee Cook." Ryan announced.

After millions witness the sweet loving girl Kristy Lee Cook, she was ready to go back home. Even though she can't get her horse back, she made it to Top 10.

My opinion on Kristy:

To be honest, I think she is a wonderful singer. Wonderful, but not great. I mean, everyone has his or her own style of music. She has tried, and still manage to make it to the top 10.

I know many of you still thinking, why haven't this girl been dropped weeks ago. Well, here is the recent. She has manage to try harder as the weeks move on. Yet, she might not be the best in her last few weeks, there were others that were horrible.

For this week, which is Mariah's theme, (R&B) Kristy was not her best, and everyone else did better than her. So therefore, it was reasonable for her to go. Again, they are looking for talent, and the song choice is what really matters.

AOL acquires Sphere

Today, we learn that AOL have acquire the popular search engine Sphere. Sphere has become one of AOL's fast growing list of acquisitions.

Sphere is a network provided service to about fifty-thousand bloggers and publishers which published about two-million articles per month.

Despite AOL's earlier acquisition of Bebo, many of AOL's acquisition have fallen on the advertising side rather than the content side.

Microsoft's Takeover

So these couple days have been really hectic for Microsoft and Yahoo. During this week, Yahoo evaluated Microsoft's bid and analyzed other options. Yet, they have no come up with a decision.


This brief news just came up after Microsoft's plan to merge with AOL and Time Warner to outsource its competition with ads for businesses. One of its greater competition is Google. Yahoo's plan to outsource the ads will benefit revenue and tries to remain independent from other companies.

On Wednesday, Yahoo announced a better way to search for ads better than Yahoo. Yahoo isn't sure if this will increase it's revenues, however, this Google will stills provide it's ad services to customers at better prices.

E=MC2

So this will be the cover for Mariah Carey's latest album release on April 15th. This album is called E=MC2. With this newest release, Carey's number #18 single hit the billboard charts.

Charlton Heston (1923 - 2008)

For those of you who didn't know Charlton Heston born John Charles Heston, he was a well known actor from the 1940s to 1970s. He passed away on Saturday at the age of 83. He was an American idol, with mega theatrical releases dating from the 1940s.

Heston remained a tough, flinty individual in the movie industry. His ethnic has gradually brought him the fame he deserved.

This great American actor made a number of other well known films as well. According to Heston, his favorite was 1968's "Will Penny," a hardscrabble western with director Tom Gries, set in an anti-romantic west of hungry, starving people, inarticulate heroes who never saw the inside of a bathtub.

Beyonce and JayZ

Today Beyonce and JayZ decided to get their wedding license in Scarsdale. So after this long wait, (they've been dating since 2002) fans around the world can actually see this couple get married. In an interview with Cosmopolitan in 2006, Beyonce stated, "I don't know when I'll get married." But after watching here sister get married, she's furious to do so. But for one thing, Beyonce doesn't want a big wedding.

The rumors regarding there wedding have followed them. Beyonce has the brighest idea of what to do for their honeymoon. She even told People that they would go away on an island and so forth.
